Vajdahunyad Var is home of the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, whose opening hours are seasonal (summer opening hours vs. winter opening hours):
- Monday: Closed (all year)
- Tuesday – Friday: 10 am – 4 pm (1 November – 31 March), 10 am – 5 pm (April 1 – October 31)
- Saturday – Sunday: 10 am – 5 pm
Please note: the last admissions to the museum is in half an hour before closing time.
The courts, courtyard of Vajdahunyad Castle are open late at night, or at early dawn. The faux gate of the Vajdahunyad Castle complex is never closed, so you can wander around the courts, take a look at the fascinating buildings as you please: the Romanesque Church, the Gothic Castle, the Renaissance / Baroque Palace, the Anonymous Statue (‘Statue of Anonymus’), the Statue of Count Sandor Karoly, or the boating lake can all be visited.

Sundays at 12 pm (noon) from Spring to Autumn (approx. March – October)
Every Sunday (except for the winter months) there are services in the Catholic chapel of the Vajdahunyad Castle Budapest. The chapel is not heated, therefore no winter services are held. The chapel is a popular wedding place in Budapest, Hungary.
